I knew there was more to the story... I mean, you gotta have homeowner's insurance or you take a huge risk. Very sad.

Saginaw township enables a transnational criminal enterprise to operate via a network of Chinese owned illicit massage business (IMBs)?! Look up the registered agents of each parlor on LARA! It runs deep! Sun Spa Massage and private residences owned by the criminal network along Bay Rd. Who funds, purchases the homes, and operates the IMBs? Who transports the women from Flushing, NY to MI? Why do the police and city manager allow human trafficking in their community? Who owns and rents out the commercial strip mall IMB unit to the criminal network? “Any taxes are good taxes” according to the Saginaw Township Police Chief. It links to Madison Heights bus station and Madison Heights police. Owners of a certain IMB were arrested but released out of Macomb County and simply reopened in Monroe, MI (where a judge is serving time for prostitution, trafficking, and electrocuting women in a hotel near Toledo). There are 37,000 Chinese owned IMBs in the USA and 450 in Michigan alone! The women are not all victims! They target American men for immigration predatory marriage fraud, marry and murder schemes, estate theft and embezzlement, financial fraud, forgery, identity theft, mortgage fraud, money laundering, and on and on! It’s not “just prostitution!” ALL IMBs need to be shuttered and banned across the USA!

You are not going to convince me that house had to come down that day. I don't know anyone working who could come up with $50,000 to $80,000 in cash in one day. They didn't even give that poor woman a chance to try and secure a loan or anything. If the house collapsed it was only that house that would have suffered. Even Flint takes down abandoned houses. But no Saginaw. There are places in Saginaw that look like a trash dump because of boarded up houses. I'm not sure who even called the guy from the city. Did anyone get his credentials?

I live in Kentucky. Most of the people here don't have house insurance. Partly because this state charges sales tax on house and car insurance. When it floods here people lose everything. But we are Appalachia and all we do is rebuild.

They could have managed to get some of her things out. Clothing for her and the kids, a few toys for the kids. The woman has been through the wringer. I am suspecting her mom left her that house and it was paid for. She escaped an abusive relationship with her kids. There are women who don't get to escape and end up dead. This whole thing was wrong.
