I understand the reason for using solar power. But I think there's better ways to do it. There's got to be places available that aren't near houses. Why don't the power companies pay for solar panels to be placed on carports in apartment complex or on apartment buildings. We are loosing rural areas. There has to be another solution.

I am familiar with this solar farm being proposed in Hemlock. One correction: IT is more than 33 acres. It is close to 2700 acres. It will surround the town of Hemlock, east, north and west. I live innext door township of Fremont. An 1100 acre solar farm is proposed for the southern end of this even more rural township. A different company and they have dropped the permits which the zoning board is reviewing. This is the final phase before construction begins. Perhaps a 100 people in this township know about this Solar farm.

Solar power is great. Using farmland to create is is not great. We are all going to need to be self sufficient within the next 12-18 months. If there is no farmland to grow crops, we will starve. Oh, wait, that is what Bill Gates is hoping for. It's why he's building a nuclear plant in the middle of Wyoming. He's not going to starve or have no power when the grids go down.

Many residents haven’t heard of this solar farm. Plus when these go up there’s never any discount on our energy bills. So who’s it saving money for. The energy companies. Then aren’t they price gouging us if they don’t lower our bills after these solar farms go up to save only them money. You’d think surrounding residents would get some type of break on there energy costs.
