Again I have had small farmers from across MI post to me today that they, because of the alleged savings, went solar, turbine and fuel. They do not have the energy to run from Oct-April and now their crops , quality of life have suffered.

Okay, 420 acres got their offer withdrawn now they want 1238 acres that includes, farms, businesses, churches, and homes. What lunatic thought this would be a good idea? Electrical outages in that area are already bad. This will only make them worse. DTE needs to keep it's collective ass in Detroit.

79 counties and townships are suing the State of Michigan over this issue. 400,000 acres of farmland and forest land are planned for Whitmer's NET ZERO by 2040 plan. Thousands of residents across Michigan oppose this policy, passed by the legislature during the pandemic in 2023. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/local/michigan/2024/11/18/michigan-solar-array-wind-turbine-park-farm-land-use-public-service-commission-local-control/76406738007/?fbclid=IwY2xjawHsmF9leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHRJ5K1ntj1xZrhLGEj3ayRVNUyJo7lPjqhGIhUfGhhNCe5PSv0tnro-3SQ_aem_atVzLUrw3vw6f_pJcGh78Q

Funding from NET ZERO ALLIANCE for these solar and wind 'developers' equipment include BLACKROCK , Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Wells Fargo etc. The 'developer' for the Higgins Twp. site planned for 1,011 acres is called 7 Mile Pit Solar LLC from an address in Royal Oak ( 7 Mile Pit was an old gravel pit in nearby Beaver Creek Twp) , which houses several other 'developers' with different names at the same address. The townships receive a $5,000 and $2,000 'grant' per mega watt hour. The 'grants' are funded by ALL taxpayers and electric utility rate payers. Cozy arrangement.

Why is it always DTE? What is Consumers Energy doing? And why is DTE always putting their stuff in areas that are not DTE territory? They should have to stay within their boundaries with their renewable energy. Why do we want our land used by a company that does not even serve us? It seems all this stuff they are putting up will not pay for itself before it needs replaced or it will be abandoned and left for others to clean up, after all what do they care it's not their customers that have to do it.
