CBS is run by someone owned by George Soros, so I would expect them to dig up dirt that doesn't exist. I listen to the first part of CBS news for the weather forecast. They generally get real close on that. After that if it stays on, it's just noise. I don't put much stock in anything they say.

They do it because it's unlikely they'll see a defamation suit because it's a political appointee and it would be portrayed as "petty" by the media. That's the sad, and unfair reality. The establishment battle plan is to render Trump's administration impotent — and garbage like this helps.

IMHO, politics is generally dirty business. During his meeting with President Biden, President Elect Donald Trump said "politics is tough." Candidates disparage each other and lie to win. I wish that mainstream media outlets would stick to the facts, and nothing but the facts! It isn't a newscaster's job to throw a candidate under the bus, especially parroting unsubstantiated rumors. This had to come from the reporter's higher-ups. Otherwise, it wouldn't be cleared by the proof reader/editor, and legal department. It was a political hit job ordered by powerful people who pull the strings in the background and have an agenda.

Does this surprise anybody? They’re all fake news including Fox News they’re no longer conservative. They’re not even owned by a conservative company anymore.
