A 24-year-old U.S. Senate staffer, Aidan Maese-Czeropski, who worked for Democratic Maryland Senator Ben Cardin, has lost his job after a sex tape featuring him was leaked. The explicit video, filmed in a judiciary hearing room within the Hart Senate Office Building, shows Maese-Czeropski engaging in anal sex with another man.
The footage, initially released by The Daily Caller, gained widespread circulation online. The camera was held by the man involved in the act, capturing various angles, including the room where Senate confirmations and hearings, including those for Supreme Court nominees, typically take place.
After being linked to Senator Cardin, a spokesperson confirmed that Maese-Czeropski was no longer employed by the U.S. Senate, stating they would not comment further on the personnel matter. Maese-Czeropski reportedly addressed the scandal in a message circulating on his since-scrubbed LinkedIn, claiming he has been attacked for his personal life in pursuit of a political agenda.
While acknowledging past lapses in judgment, he asserted his commitment to his job and denied any disrespect toward his workplace. Maese-Czeropski's social media profiles have been deleted. The Capitol Police are investigating the incident to determine if any laws were violated. Maese-Czeropski had worked for Senator Cardin since 2021, and prior to that, he served as an intern for Dianne Feinstein.

Why did NBC News have to say “conservative” outlets. It’s a news story, it doesn’t matter who picked it up first. It’s also a matter of right versus wrong. Having sex at your workplace is usually frowned upon, I am wrong?
Main Stream News all have an agenda. We learned alot about the Media (Old Twitter) and The White House. Putting pressure on Media to run or not run certain stories. We only know what they want us to know. Not many like you Dave. I try to only follow and support Indepent Journalists. We can say shame on NBC for this, but they all do it.
What this young Man did was wrong, no doubt. But, I'm betting that type of behavior has happened before in our Senate & Congress. It just hasn't been shared!
And these are only the things we hear about. Like the cocaine episode, in which the supposed elite Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation couldn't solve. When Melania Trump moved in the White House, she had a clergyman come bless the house. No telling what nasty things are going on behind those walls.
