As the November election approaches, Michigan residents are facing issues with voter roll inaccuracies, leading to a flood of election-related mail sent to incorrect addresses. Rex, a Burton resident, shared his experience during an interview, highlighting ongoing problems with the state’s voter registration system.
Rex has been receiving absentee ballot applications and other election mail addressed to two individuals who no longer live at his residence—a problem that has persisted for over a decade. “It’s been happening for years,” Rex said. “We’ve received absentee ballot applications, notifications to vote, and postcards for people who haven’t lived here in a long time.”
