In this edition of Keeping it Real, I am talking to a man who lives at the southern border and talks about the ongoing illegal invasion. I am also talking to a real estate agent from Michigan who is taking questions and giving advice when it comes to the real estate market in 2024.

My first interview was with Jaimie Aguillar. Jaimie lives in Del Rio, Texas, and has been dealing with the border invasion for the past three years.
Jaimie lives four miles from the border and is worried about his safety, but also the safety of the entire United States.
“The Mayor of Eagle Pass is a Democrat and he has very strong words and says the Biden administration has abandoned the people on the border. A lot of people I know who are Democrats do not plan on voting Democrat,” said Aguillar.
“I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist and this is almost intentional, it alarms us that are seeing this first hand,” said Aguillar.
According to FOX News, the Department of Justice is threatening to sue Texas if it moves forward with its strict new border security law, which is set to take effect in March and would allow TX authorities to arrest & deport anyone who crosses into TX illegally.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson says "the entire country" is "now at stake" because of illegal immigration.
“It won’t just be the city of Chicago that won’t be able to maintain this mission. It’s the entire country that is now at stake." "We have roughly 15,000 people living in shelters, temporary shelters, here in Chicago... 27 shelters total. And 4,500 children in our Chicago public schools system, providing health care,” said Mayor Johnson.
More than 11,000 asylum seekers are already huddled on the Mexican side of the southern border in shelters in camps, awaiting an opportunity to cross over into the United States — as a massive migrant caravan continues to make its way north.
Aguillar tells me the only hope he has for change at the border is for a change in the White House.
During the show we took a look at the real estate market and what it may look like in 2024.
Stephanie Rosello is a real estate agent in Metro Detroit who breaks down the current market and what she thinks home buyers and sellers could expect in the new year.
Rosello predicts interest rates will get down to five percent and that selling and buying will increase big time in the spring.
I also took a look at obvious media bias.
Take a look at the following headline:
It turns out Melania Trump was with her sick mother. Several publications published a story insinuating that Melania was skipping out on a family picture.
The below headline was from FOX News. The FOX News article cleared up the horrible journalism published by the other publications.
I wish all of you a happy New Year.
