I am siding with St. Clair Shores on this one. There should NEVER be any solar farms in Michigan. You don't have enough sun.

It’s been well studied that MI is not the optimum State to rely solely on Solar for energy throughout the state. The harm done to our ecosystem, farmlands, wildlife habitat will have far worse consequences on the environment while we fund a project meant to make DTE, DNR and Whitmer even wealthier. The average days with sun in MI is 20%. Yes some areas have more, but I said average. Given the peak use times and decrease in sun, increase in cold snow rain the power grid is more likely to fail statewide. If it failed in Sunny Spain what do you think will happen in MI? Heat it up and start fires like a magnifying glass does when reflected on dry leaves. Solar and wind in MI is not just crazy, it is criminal. We have no money left to pay for Whitmer’s horrible plans, loss of billions, increase in taxes with more coming… now Trump just passed on 890 Million Food Stamps Bill to the State of MI…get ready for income tax increases… I can’t do it anymore
